— AP National College Football Writer Ralph Russo has listed Mike Sanford the #6 new FBS coach most likely to succeed (out of 21). Former WKU coach Jeff Brohm was listed at #1, while Willie Taggart was listed at #8.
— WKU led Conference USA in championships for the 3rd straight season (every year the Tops have competed in C-USA). Props to Todd Stewart and all of the coaches/athletes for making WKU a well rounded program across all sports.
