— Brad Stephens discusses Nacarius Fant comeback from a 2016 injury that cut his season short.
— Fant was named to the Hornung Award watch list that goes annually to the most versatile player in College Football. Michigan’s Jabril Peppers won the award last season.
— Bleacher Report ranked Mike White the #2 Passer in College Football in 2017.
— Former WKU & current Rams tight end, Tyler Higbee plead guilty to second degree assault charges stemming from an April 2016 incident at Tidballs. He will serve no jail time in accordance to his plea deal.
— Conference USA media days are this week & we know who’ll represent the Tops in Dallas:

— Damari Parris is transferring to Trinity Valley Community College in Texas. Best of luck to Damari and we all hope he uses his Juco stop to catapult himself back to Division 1 basketball.

— Cornerback Joe Brown was named to the Jim Thorpe watch list that goes to college football’s best defensive back. He is WKU’s first nominee since Cam Thomas in 2014.
— Todd Stewart reminded twitter how successful WKU football has been in the past few years
— Las Vegas chose WKU as an overwhelming 5/7 favorite to win Conference USA in 2017. Lousiana Tech was the next closest at 7/1.
— Brad Stephens recapped volleyball coach Travis Hudson’s and middle hitter Rachel Anderson’s participation with USA Volleyball this summer.
— Robinson Idehan did in fact make Spain’s U20 team. He’s #16
— If NCAA Football still existed, WKU would have been ranked an 80 overall. Their offensive ranking would have been 84 while their defensive ranking would be 75, according to SB Nation.
