— WKU got potentially the final piece of their 2017 recruiting class with this weekend’s commitment of 6–6 Forward Marek Nelson.

— In related recruiting news, former WKU target Myles Johnson committed to Rutgers this weekend.
— After Wednesday’s marathon’s wins WKU Softball’s season came to an end on Friday after being no hit by Marshall 2–0 & losing another heartbreaker in a 10-inning, 1–0 game to eventual champion Louisiana Tech.
— Taylor Proctor & Kelsey McGuffin did make the All-Conference USA Tournament team after their strong showings.
— However, WKU’s season isn’t over, as they have accepted a spot in the NISC Tournament.
