— Mitchell Robinson surprisingly got cut from the USA U19 National Team and won’t be heading to Egypt to compete. There are plusses and minuses to Calipari’s/Matt Painter’s decision. On the negative side, Robinson won’t get to compete with world class players for the next few weeks and we won’t get to follow his progress. On the plus side, he’ll soon arrive on campus and will begin the process of bonding with his teammates and coaches at WKU. That will only help with chemistry before the Tops trip to Costa Rica in August.
— After Thursday’s NBA draft, CBS Sports has already come up with a Ridiculously Early 2018 NBA Mock Draft. Mitchell Robinson comes in a #8 heading to the Detroit Pistons.
— Bleacher Report has Mitchell Robinson going at #14 in their 2018 Mock Draft.
— NBC Sports has him being taken 17th in their Mock draft.
— Robinson Idehan did make Spain’s U-20 national team .
— WKU Golfer Bill Tom Sargent tied for Second at the Kentucky State Amateur Championship at -9.
— Underdog Dynasty previews WKU’s non-conference schedule and thinks they will go 3–1 against EKU, Illinois, Ball St. & Vandy.
