— WKU Softball won both of their games Wednesday to open the CUSA Tournament in thrilling marathon fashion. After giving up a 9th inning lead, the 8th seeded Tops started the day off with a 12-inning, 12–7 win over 5th seeded UAB. Hours later the Tops came back from a 4–1 deficit against 4 seed Florida Atlantic to win 6–5 in the 9th Inning. Their reward for 21 innings of softball will be #1 seed Marshall. They will play today at 2 PM CST on YouTube & have to now lose twice to be eliminated. Here’s the full CUSA Softball Tournament bracket.
— The Boston Breakers of the NWSL have waived former WKU goalkeeper Libby Stout. Injuries have derailed her career the past two seasons after initial success in Europe.
