Former Lady Topper forward Tashia Brown was not taken by a team in Thursday’s WNBA draft.

Brown tallied 22.5 points per game this year, blasting her previous career-best of 17.5 in her sophomore campaign, while adding 2.4 assists per game and 5.4 rebounds a night.

Tashia was left on the big board at night’s end, and was ranked the fourth best available player overall, and best small forward left on the board, at the draft’s end, according to ESPN.

It is disappointing that Tashia didn’t get selected, but this isn’t the death nail in her professional coffin. As for what’s next, we’ll have to play out.

Of note, I only count four mid-majors being taken, and no C-USA teams were represented.
