The only thing keeping me somewhat calm about Coleby not seeing time on the floor is the fact that DJ Hogg, who the Pelicans staff was very high on coming into the LVSL, played zero minutes as well.
In breaking down how much other forwards played, Cheick Diallo (who got the start at center, actually) played 27 minutes, Derek Willis logged 13, Cliff Alexander had 10 and Garlon Green had 11.
In all, 12 players saw playing time, while Coleby and Hogg sat. For some detailed thoughts about how the players Coleby is fighting time for minutes with, check out The Bird Writes’ recap.
Honestly, until we see Dwight take the floor, there isn’t much to talk about, but I have a feeling we’ll know a little bit more after this afternoon. At least, I really hope we do.
