We had ProToppers all over the place over the Thanksgiving Holiday, spanning from the first game on Turkey Day to the last game of the weekend last night. Well, kind of.
Here’s how they broke down.
Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts
Doyle saw just 38 offensive snaps and six on special teams but he left the game early due to a kidney injury and has been put in IR, ending his season.
He did get a touchdown, though.
Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Chicago Bears
Iggy saw 21 special teams snaps on Thanksgiving Day and it was really fun to yell “IGGY’S OUT THERE” with all of my family in the room as we ate.
Taywan Taylor, Tennessee Titans
Taylor has missed three games in a row due to a foot injury.
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams
The Rams were on bye this week.
Forrest Lamp, Los Angeles Chargers
Lamp has seen action just once this year, seeing seven snaps in Week 6 against Cleveland, and if this Q&A with Bolts From The Blue is any indication, it’s the Chargers’ coaching staff playing hardball with his injury recovery.
Mike White, Dallas Cowboys
White has yet to see the field this year as backup. Cooper Rush has taken the only six snaps that Dak Prescott hasn’t.
George Fant, Seattle Seahawks
Fant took 17 snaps with the Seahawks offense and another six with the special teams unit. Fant has been seeing consistent work since a slow start to the year in which he saw six total offensive snaps in the first four weeks of the season.
Deon Yelder, Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs were on bye this week. Yelder saw no snaps in their Monday Night shootout with the Los Angeles Rams.
