The never-ending Canadian carousel for Cameron Echols-Luper continued on Monday as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced they had parted ways with 14 players, and CEL was one of them.
CEL signed with Hamilton for a second time back in January, and through two stints with the club, he has yet to appear in a regular season game.
The TiCats used their second and third-round picks in last week’s draft on wide receivers meaning even less opportunity for Echols-Luper to try and standout.
Here’s to hoping he lands…somewhere.
CEL’s departure from Hamilton means there’s just one active Hilltopper in the CFL — Jonathan Downling, playing down the road in Toronto.
