With one game standing in between four teams and a trip to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII, two (really, three) former Hilltoppers have the opportunity to make it to the biggest game in America.

Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints (Sunday, 2:05 p.m., FOX)

Higbee had just two receptions on four targets for 30 yards in last week’s Rams’ win over the Cowboys. It’d be great to see him be more of a factor in New Orleans…but I don’t see it happening.

Deon Yelder, Kansas City Chiefs (Saturday 3:35 p.m., CBS)

I hadn’t checked for a few weeks so I checked prior to last week but Yelder is in fact still on the Chief 53-man roster. He just doesn’t see a ton of playing time as the number three tight end on one of the most prolific offenses in the league.

Same as Higbee — it’d be great to see Yelder make a play, but it’s unlikely it’ll happen.
