#ProTops: Former Toppers in NFL Wild Card Weekend Action
The playoffs are among us and we have all but one ProTopper in Taywan Taylor playing in the postseason. Which is sad, but the reality.
The playoffs are among us and we have all but one ProTopper in Taywan Taylor playing in the postseason. Which is sad, but the reality.
However, we have five ProTops in action this weekend (Deon Yelder and Tyler Higbee are on byes) and with only one game featuring opposing guys, there’s an opportunity for six ProTops to be in action in the Divisional Round.
So, lets see where everyone is in action this week.
Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (Saturday 3:35 p.m., ABC/ESPN)
Doyle is out for the remainder of the year with a kidney injury.
But, the Colts have an opportunity to advance to the second round of the playoff against a divisional rival.
Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday 3:40 p.m., NBC)
Iggy will open the playoffs by hosting the defending champs. Look for him on all of the punt plays.
Forrest Lamp, Los Angeles Chargers at Baltimore Ravens (Sunday 12:05 p.m., CBS)
Lamp’s Chargers will be in action, but it’s doubtful Lamp himself will be.
George Fant, Seattle Seahawks at Mike White, Dallas Cowboys (Saturday 7:15 p.m., FOX)
Fant and White have the nightcap game, although White will most likely not see the field. Fant, however, should be a starter at right guard and will get a healthy amount of snaps.
