Monday morning, Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller unveiled his latest NFL Draft Big Board and it mentions a certain favorite gunslinger of ours.
That’s right, Mike White cracked Miller’s Top 10 quarterback list, coming it at #8, just below Virginia’s Kurt Benkert and above Washington State’s Luke Faulk and Nebraska’s Tanner Lee (goodness all of those names are the most quarterback names I’ve ever heard).
White also earned the title of “Biggest Sleeper,” which could mean a bounty of things but, in this case, I think means “not a ton of people saw him play in college so they don’t understand how good he really is.” But it also could mean one of about 15 other things.
Miller didn’t go into really any analysis with his rankings (although he did give a Top 50 players and a Top 10 for every position, so it isn’t like he’s slacking), which is a bummer because I’d like to hear what he has to say about White outside of “Top 10 prospect” and “dark horse.”
Anyway, as the publicity around White continues to grow, that should only bolster his draft stock (unless he disappoints in the Senior Bowl).
