The holidays are approaching as Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Did our #ProTops get to feast early on some competition? Let’s dive into Week 11 and relive the action.
Starting off the week’s action on Sunday:
Taywan Taylor did not play in the Browns 22–17 win over the Eagles.
Joel Iyiegbuniwe and the Bears were on a bye week.
Later in the afternoon, the Colts played a pivotal matchup against the Packers. Jack Doyle returned to action after missing week 10 on concussion protocol. On his lone reception of the game, he made it count by returning to familiar territory:
This was a six-yard grab from Philip Rivers.
The Colts were victorious, 34–31.
Another dual #ProTops matchup was in the works as the Jets traveled to Los Angeles to face the Chargers. George Fant was the starting offensive tackle but he split snaps with Alex Van Roten, as a part of an experiment for the Jets offense. He totaled 24 snaps as he left early in the latter part of the game due to a potential injury. It was reported Monday that he is on a week to week basis:
Forrest Lamp played a total of 88 snap counts as he was also starting on the Bolts offensive line. The Chargers went on to win the game, 34–28.
Deon Yelder did not play in the Chiefs' win over the Raiders on Sunday night.
Last but not least, the Rams battled the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. Tyler Higbee was active in the NFC conference showdown. He caught four passes for 19 yards as he got to play in his hometown. The Rams won on a last-second field goal, 27–24.
In coaching news:
Romeo Crennel and the Texans received a huge home win over the Patriots, 27–20.
Stay tuned for more updates as the season progresses.
