#ProTops: NFL Week Two Update
Recapping former how former Hilltoppers performed in Week 2.
Week Two’s NFL action only showcased our beloved #ProTops in the early afternoon window. Some of the matchups played went down to the wire while others were a total blowout from start to finish. Let’s take a look at this past week:
Another early-season #ProTops dual matchup transpired in Indianapolis on Sunday. The Rams traveled to Lucas Oil Stadium to battle the Colts.
Tyler Higbee caught one pass for eight yards.
Jack Doyle had 5 receptions for 68 yards. This was Doyle’s best performance in a while as he remains in play to be the starting tight end going forward.
Colts' Jack Doyle: Steps up in Week 2 loss

The Rams beat the Colts to remain 2–0 with the final score of 27–24. The Colts are now 0–2.
Mike White did not play in the Jets’ 25–6 loss to the Patriots. After a terrible performance by quarterback Zach Wilson, only one can hope that White will be strongly considered to take the reins if things don’t improve in New York. It’s honestly surprising to me that the Jets wouldn’t let White go in for a few snaps after Wilson threw his fourth interception on the day but it looks like they really want to stick with their rookie first-round QB, even if he’s not doing well.
George Fant played a total of 76 snap counts at right tackle. He did have a better performance on Sunday’s game. In fact, he was one of the highest-graded offensive players in the loss.
Rounding out Sunday afternoon, Joel Iyiegbuniwe only saw special teams action in the Bears (1–1) 20–17 win over the Bengals. He took the field 13 times.
Stay tuned for more updates as the season progresses.
