#ProTops: Show Me What You’ve Got

It’s the fourth and final week of the preseason for the NFL, and that means it’s the last chance for everyone, especially bubble-to-fringe players to show their teams what they can do.
We basically know who will be safe, but it’s guys like Prince Charles Iworah, Deon Yelder and maybe even Darrell Williams, Jr. who aren’t quite sure what things will hold for them past this week.
Anyway, here’s what everyone will be up to. Oh, and a quick note, with roster cuts coming Saturday, every team plays their final tune up game tonight.
Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati (6 p.m.)
Don’t expect Doyle to play a ton, if at all, in this one. His spot as TE1 is maybe the safest spot of any ProTopper.
Prince Charles Iworah, Washington Redskins at Baltimore (6 p.m.)
PCI will have one more chance to show what he’s worth to the Redskins. A 53-man roster spot is doubtful, but he could play his way onto the practice squad.
Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Chicago Bears vs. Buffalo (7 p.m.)
I think we’ll see a healthy dose of Iggy, especially since he missed the first couple of games due to injury. I think the Bears still need to figure out what he can do between game lines.
Taywan Taylor, Tennessee Titans vs. Minnesota (7 p.m.)
Much like Doyle, don’t expect to see a ton from Taylor. Maybe a series or two, if that.
Omarius Bryant, Tyler Higbee; Los Angeles Rams at Deon Yelder, New Orleans Saints (7 p.m.)
If this weren’t week final of the preseason, this’d be a lot more interesting.
I doubt Higbee plays a ton, if at all, Bryant could see a good number of snaps and this is really the last chance for Yelder to prove what he’s got. Although, I will say I’ll blame a lot of that on the Saints; I don’t think he’s gotten a ton of chances to prove what he can do.
Mike White, Dallas Cowboys at Houston (7 p.m.)
White has played the entire second half each of the last two weeks, and I see one of two things happening tonight; he splits first half snaps with Cooper Rush or it’s all Rush in the first half and all White in the second half.
He’s almost assuredly 53-man roster safe, it’s all a battle for depth chart positioning at this point.
Darrell Williams, Jr., San Francisco 49ers vs. Forrest Lamp, Los Angeles Chargers (9 p.m.)
Both guys should see a healthy amount of snaps in this one, if I had to venture a guess.
George Fant, Seattle Seahawks vs. Oakland (9 p.m.)
Fant’s battle for the starting right tackle job continues into PW4, so he could play a ton or a little. We’ll just have to see!
