Former Lady Topper forward Tashia Brown has signed a training camp contract with the New York Liberty of the WNBA.

Former Lady Topper forward Tashia Brown has signed a training camp contract with the New York Liberty of the WNBA.

As the Lady Topper tweet said, Tashia will be looking to become the fourth all-time Lady Topper in the league, joining Crystal Kelly, ShaRae Mansfield and Tiffany Porter-Talbert.

New York is one of the founding members of the WNBA and is the owner of six Eastern Conference titles, but no league titles. The Liberty have finished first in the East in three straight years but have failed to go further than the conference finals in that timespan.

NY logged a 22–12 record in 2017.

Brown tallied 22.5 points per game this year, blasting her previous career-best of 17.5 in her sophomore campaign, while adding 2.4 assists per game and 5.4 rebounds a night.
