Last year, we somehow went all season without realizing that former Hilltopper guard T.J. Price was playing pro basketball stateside in the NBA G-League with the Lakeland Magic.

Price turned in a solid year for the Magic, too — playing in 49 games (second most) and starting 31 of them while scoring 9.0 points, 2.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds a night. Nothing Earth-shattering, but respectable.

However, it appears he won’t get a reprieve season in central Florida, as the Lakeland Magic have unveiled their training camp roster and…T.J. aint on it.

Despite the Magic still being listed on his player page, Price now searches for a new squad. Who that squad is, however, may have to remain to be seen.

The G-League regular season tips in the first week of November so we’ll know if T.J. is on a roster by then.
