The first weekend of December proves that even in the slightest fashion, there is still plenty of joy to go around. Our beloved #ProTops alumni were on the receiving end of such great football in the last few weeks of the season. Let’s dive into the action.
Starting off Sunday’s action was an NFC North battle between the Bears and the Lions. After firing their head coach Matt Patricia, the Lions scraped together an emotional win over their divisional counterparts, 34–30. Joel Iyiegbuniwe tallied two tackles in the game & played 24 snap counts on special teams in the loss.

The Jets had another chance to try and win their first game of the year. Until the last second of their game with the Raiders, all hope was pointing towards the legion of green. Sadly, the Jets lost 31–28, making them 0–12 in 2020. George Fant started the game on the offensive line and played all 62 offensive snap counts. Mike White still remains on the practice squad.
The Colts and the Texans squared off in an AFC South battle that included a few of our #ProTops. It was head coach Romeo Crennel’s squad who was looking for their third win in a row. Jack Doyle was targeted one time and caught a reception for 12 yards. The Colts were the team that received the victory, 26–20 over their divisional rivals. This win keeps them in first place in the AFC South.
Later in the afternoon, The Chargers played host to New England. They’ve faced Cam Newton & the Patriots. It would soon become a very forgettable homecoming as the Bolts were blown out 45–0. Forrest Lamp started his 12th game of the season on the offensive line, tallying for 74 snap counts.
Also on the west coast, the Rams took a short trip to Arizona for an NFC West showdown versus the Cardinals. Tyler Higbee was back to his old self in terms of production. Higs accounted for four receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown.
The Rams won the game 38–28.
Closing out Sunday night was an AFC West battle between the Chiefs and Broncos. Deon Yelder played a total of 21 snaps during the Chiefs' 22–16 win, remaining with an 11–1 record in 2020.
Stay tuned for more news as the season progresses. Also, don’t forget to vote our #ProTops in for the 2021 Pro Bowl.
