#ProTops Week 9 Recap Pt. 2

While a trio of ProTops took the field on Thursday, Sunday and Monday saw no shortage of former Hilltoppers in the NFL.

Week 9 in the NFL started with a dual #ProTops battle with the Jets and the Colts. Mike White, George Fant, and Jack Doyle we’re all active in Thursday's game. The recap below describes the events as they followed.

Moving on to Sunday:

Deon Yelder & the Buccaneers we’re on a bye week. They will return next Sunday to face the Washington Football Team.

Tyler Higbee caught 5 passes for 51 yards in the Rams 28–16 loss against the Titans on Sunday Night Football. He had a touchdown catch that was called back in the third quarter due to illegal touching.

Joel Iyiegbuniwe had one solo tackle in the Bears' 29–27 loss to the Steelers and he made it count. He had a forced fumble on Steelers receiver Ray-Ray McCloud returning a punt deep in their territory:

This was the biggest play all season so far from Iggy. Most of his snaps from Monday’s game came on special teams.

Lastly, despite being out for the rest of the game on Thursday, Mike White will possibly get another chance to start on Sunday in the next Jets game. With Zach Wilson returning to practice, HC Robert Saleh is still keeping his options open. Most of the NFL world thinks that White should get the start.
