Earlier this week, we put out an all call for questions for a WKU/NFL Draft mailbag and…no one seemed to care. It was kind of odd. I was almost certain at least a few of you were curious about what might happen this week.

Well, that’s not true. One of you was curious, and it was our good friends at the Moonshine Throwdown.

So, here’s the thing — Cameron Echols-Luper is going to be on an NFL roster by the end of the weekend. He may not be drafted, but he’s going to land somewhere, and he’s going to stick around.

His NCAA-journeyman past might be one of the hindrances in a ton of coverage, with stops at TCU and Arkansas State before landing on the Hill. While he wasn’t WR1 for the Tops, either, he wasn’t a slouch — hauling in 42 balls for 473 yards and four touchdowns.

He’s quick, he can make plays…basically all the cliche’s you can think of, CEL is it. Except, I think he’ll impress a team enough to let them take a chance on him.

Can you say shortest mailbag ever! Regardless, it’s almost draft weekend and I’m very excited to see where the former Toppers will head.
