It’s Friday. Thank goodness.
9 a.m. ET: Like I did earlier in the week, I’m going to begin today by not talking about something newsy, but about something I’m feeling.
Only this time, it isn’t WKU related, and since this is my blog, you can’t stop me.
The Falcons looked like absolute garbage last night, except for when it counted most, which I assume is a good thing? I was expecting that final drive to end in a turnover and in dismay and despair, and while the game certainly did end that way, the drive itself was…promising. It was the first time all night they looked competent on that side of the ball.
Until, that is, they got to the 10 yardline. In which case, the play calling became mind numbing incompetent from Steve Sarkisian, the same OC who ended the Falcons’ playoff run last year with incompetent playcalling from the goal line at Philadelphia.
How last season ended is literally how this season began.
I just want you all to know I’m hurting, bad, and I need to find a brick wall, an aluminum bat and be given 15 minutes to lose my mind.
Happy Friday, everyone!
