In the hours after the end of Hilltopper Hysteria, CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported the Hilltoppers have agreed to agreed to a home and home series with the Rhode Island Rams.

Rick Stansbury has continued to do a great job of putting non-conference games on the books, and this series is no different. The Rams, much like the Hilltoppers, are a mid-major program on the rise and have made the NCAA Tournament in consecutive years. The Rams found themselves as high as #16 in the country a year ago.

While the school hasn’t made an official announcement, Chad Bishop with WBKO confirmed the series.
