While a bulk of the attention since the hoops season came to a close has been on the Fella Tops, with the strides Rick Stansbury has been making on the recruiting trail, the Lady Toppers are in prime position to be led to conference glory once again, and today it was announced the CUSA coaches feel the same way.
WKU was selected to win the conference today, beating out MTSU — who won the conference tournament last season — by one first-place vote.

The Lady Toppers also landed a pair of players on the Preseason All-Conference Team in Tashia Brown and Kendall Noble, who was tabbed as preseason Player of the Year.
Last year, Michelle Clark-Herd led the Lady Tops to yet another 20-win season, with a 27–7 overall record, including a home win over Louisville, and a 15–3 conference mark. The Lady Tops season ended in the quarterfinals of the WNIT.
