The NCAA has given a waiver to Davidson transfer Luke Frampton to play for the Hilltoppers this upcoming season.
The NCAA has given a waiver to Davidson transfer Luke Frampton to play for the Hilltoppers this upcoming season.
Frampton is a player that will excite Hilltopper fans this season. He averaged 10.3 points and 3.2 rebounds last season and is a 38% three-point shooter. One of his best games was when he hit eight triples in a single game in early 2019.
Frampton is also coming off a serious knee injury but he’s been healthy and has been practicing with the team on campus.
After the whole debacle with Kenny Cooper last season, it’s nice to finally see the Tops get a waiver from the NCAA. Frampton will be a Jared Savage type player for the Hilltoppers and will likely be a player to turn to when in need of a big shot.
We still have no full schedule from the Tops yet but we can expect the Hilltoppers to start play come late November.
