Last year, the Tops took down Memphis, 75–69, on Thanksgiving Day.
The series between Memphis and WKU is tied all-time, 6–6. Memphis is 3–1 all time at home against the Tops, with the lone WKU victory in Memphis coming on December 3, 1966 (52–44).
WKU’s matchup with Memphis is another strong entry to the Tops’ 2021/22 non-conference schedule, which features games against EKU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Louisville, Austin Peay and Minnesota and a to-be-announced team in an MTE in Asheville in November.
