This wild ride that we’ve called a regular season for the Hilltoppers basketball program will come to an end tonight (but don’t worry, there’s still a conference tournament ahead of us!) in Birmingham against the Blazers in a game that is always guaranteed to be a good time.

The Blazers are looking to string together consecutive wins for the first time since they won four straight games from January 4–13, having alternated results over their last six games.
UAB is coming off a convincing 91–77 win against Marshall, where they shot nearly 50% from the floor (48.6%) and out rebounded the Herd 49–31.
WKU Baseball: Tops Fall to WVU After Bullpen Struggles
Coming into this season, there was one major goal for the WKU baseball team: Find a way to get consistent pitching.medium.com
It should go without saying, but the Tops need to have a better performance tonight than they did Thursday against MTSU when they fell on hard times, offensively and defensively, to close the first half and were never able to recover in the second.
WKU is going to need more than just 24 points from Lamonte Bearden (although, you wont hear me complain if he wants to replicate that output) and will need one of Justin Johnson, Taveion Hollingsworth and/or Dwight Coleby to show up, who all three combined for 21 points against the Raiders.
It’s not just a game for bragging rights, but also for CUSA seeding. As I understand it, a win for the Tops solidifies their spot as the #2 team in the bracket.
UAB can get the #6 seed with a win, but also could do so if North Texas loses to UTEP (lawlz yeah right).
As the WKU game notes point out, regardless of where the Tops finish for the tournament (either #2 or #3 are possible), it’ll be their best finish since joining the league. Not too shabby.
It’s been a fun year and a wild ride. And, the best part is, we still have a second season to look forward to.
But, for the time being, let’s focus on the Blazers.
