After their second consecutive loss, WKU is still one win away from being eligible for the seventh season in a row. Their record now stands at 5–4 on the season with three games to play. Here are your Conference USA standings through ten weeks:
Reminder, Conference USA has six primary bowl tie-ins and one secondary tie-in. Thus far UTEP, Charlotte & Rice have been eliminated from bowl contention, while ODU is one game away from joining them. C-USA could get 10 teams for seven spots but luckily for them, several P5 conferences may not fill their bowl allotment opening up destinations that weren’t on table when season began. With that in mind, here’s the latest bowl projections across the internet post-Week 10.

WKU now has three games to get that elusive sixth win again three tough opponents (Marshall, MTSU & FIU). While six wins should get them bowling, their destination could be up wind up being somewhere unexpected.
I think the athletic department would heavily push to not go back to the Bahamas for the second time in four years. They could wind up anywhere form Detroit to Albuquerque to Dallas to Florida. The next three weeks loom large on WKU’s bowl destination. We’ll continue to update you weekly on the projections moving forward.
