Tyson Helton has not even officially been named the head coach of WKU and it appears that he already has his Offensive Coordinator.
Per a report from Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman, current USC Quarterback Coach and former WKU assistant, Bryan Ellis, will return to the Hill in that position.
Ellis played quarterback for UAB from 2007–11 before moving to the sidelines as a Graduate Assistant for the Blazers. Following his time in Birmingham, he joined Jeff Brohm’s staff at WKU as an offensive quality control coach before being promoted to coach running backs and wide receivers.
