After getting the ball back on an onside kick, Duncan threw an interception that was returned for 80 yards knotting the score up at 7 in the first quarter. WKU would respond and take the lead on a 2-yard touchdown by Gaej Walker in the second quarter. FIU would respond cutting the lead to 3 with six minutes left in the 3rd quarter. We’ve made it to the 10th game of the year without any covid suspensions so that’s worth celebrating. Our reward is getting a chance to see if WKU’s defense can keep up their recent streak of superb play. Let’s savor the unit why we still have it and hope the offense finally wakes up today to continue WKU’s strong end of the season.
