Excitement Level — 8
Despite the probable downpour, we are really excited to see WKU Football put a bow on a very successful regular season. Getting to do that against a rival that is having a miserable season adds another layer to that. With the win, Helton matches Bobby Petrino for the best debut season of the last decade and has a shot to best Jeff Brohm and Petrion with a bowl victory. Getting to watch seniors like Lucky Jackson, Quin Jernighan, Miles Pate, Ta’Corian Darden & Ty Storey one last time at home will also be a treat. Let’s hope they finish the job and position themselves for a desirable bowl matchup.
