The Western Kentucky Football program has the most momentum it has had since 2017, today’s game against a quality name brand opponent at home is not only a chance for a statement win but also gives us another data point to show if this team is truly a conference title contender. Army’s disciplined triple-option attack will make this a worthwhile test of a team that is growing in confidence each week (especially defensively). Should they emerge victoriously and grow offensively then it’s time to take this team seriously as a Conference USA contender. Tonight’s game will set the tone for the second half of the season.
