WKU Football Roster Tracker for 2025
FB: Tracking the arrivals and departures from the WKU Football roster ahead of the 2025 season.
The 2024 regular season is over and now as we await the CUSA Championship, here comes the early signing period starting December 4th. WKU will be announcing several signings December 4th, but we should note that these are only binding if Tyson Helton returns for his 7th season. With him being rumored to several power conference jobs (Purdue, West Virginia, North Carolina), any of these players (or any player on the roster) can reopen their recruitment should he leave.
The transfer portal is also set to officially open up next week after the conference championship games are completed, so we should expect a significant amount of announcements over the next month or so as the Hilltopper program could be in flux. With that in mind, here is a comprehensive list of where WKU’s roster currently stands heading into the 2025 season.
4/14/25 Update: With Spring Practice now completed, the last portal window will be opening soon. Expect a mix of exits from players that will be looking for more playing time or looking to capitalize on last minute needs at “bigger schools”. Also WKU will be looking to fill in the gaps on the roster at positions of need. More to Come…
2/11/25 Update: WKU has posted their official Spring Football roster on WKUSports.com. This update reflects those changes. The next updates will be after the spring portal window opens and the next round of roster changes occurs prior to fall camp. More to Come….
