Happy spring game! It’s our first look at the Tops on the gridiron since that atrocious showing in the Cure Bowl and our last until August when fall practice begins.
Anyway, here’s a quick primer for your day!
Game time
The game begins at 2 p.m. CT, and gates open at noon. Parking and entrance into the Houch is free, so if you find yourself twiddling your thumbs at home, why not go?
What’s at stake?
Uh, not much, really. I’m not even sure if this is going to settle the quarterback debate (that’ll come towards the end of fall practice), but it’ll be a fun (hopefully) look at where the team is. Will the OLine be improved? What will the running situation look like? Will a new wide receiver emerge as a name to know before the season?
Pre-game reading
We did a mailbag about today, where we discuss those aforementioned OL and running game questions, as well as early outlook for next year and if Mike Sanford is on the hot seat or not.
Also, WKU has their “official” preview, as much of one as a spring game can have.
