Alabama grad transfer guard, and Hilltopper target, Dazon Ingram has announced he will play his final year of eligibility with UCF.
Alabama grad transfer guard, and Hilltopper target, Dazon Ingram has announced he will play his final year of eligibility with UCF.
Ingram, a Theodore, Alabama native, started 19 games for the Crimson Tide last year and averaged 22.2 minutes to accompany a stat line of 7.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Ingram would have filled the role as a seasoned-ball handler with the graduation of Lamonte Bearden and the departure of Dalano Banton, but with Wednesday’s addition of Kenny Cooper, Ingram might not have been guaranteed to see as many minutes as he would have liked at WKU.
Ingram fell out of favor in Tuscaloosa last year starting just 19 games after starting 74 of his first 76 games with Big Al.
A three-star prospect out of high school, Ingram held an offer from the Tops in 2015.
