After tweeting he had re-committed to WKU earlier in the week, defensive back recruit Devin Bell tweeted out a photo with some old Topper friends in Jeff Brohm and Nick Holt, Sr.
Bell, a three-star prospect who loves flocking to the ball and already looks like a D1 player while on the high school gridiron, chose the Tops over not only the likes of Southern Miss and EKU, but over Louisville and Purdue as well.
This the bummer part of recruiting for fans — no matter how closely you follow the ins and outs of the good ol’ crootin — that nothing is official until your name is on that NLI (and, as we’ve seen recently in Mitchel Robinson’s case, things can still change afterwards), so it isn’t out of the question that Purdue is still in play.
But, if Bell does sign his NLI with the Tops (the early signing period is in a couple of weeks), it’d be a huge win for Sanford and his staff, especially if that meant edging out our ol’ pal Brohm.

Whichever direction Bell goes, he’s sure to make an immediate impact. His Hudl highlight tape is very impressive, and he could very well become a name every WKU fan knows very soon.
