WKU Recruiting: Darius Pittman Picks Toppers

Another day, another 2017 recruit for the WKU football squad, who just announced he was taking his talents to south-central Kentucky.

Another day, another 2017 recruit for the WKU football squad, who just announced he was taking his talents to south-central Kentucky.

Pittman, a three-star recruit according to both Rivals and 247Sports, comes to the Tops by way of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. 247 has Pittman as the 231 wide reciever and the 35 player in Mississippi for the 2017 class.

The wide receiver/tight end (will probably be more of a receiver on the Hill) selected the Tops over his home state Southern Miss, South Al and UTSA among others.

Pittman spoke with InsideHilltopperSports.com, the WKU Rivals site, and cited his desire to play in Brohm’s high-octane offense as well as a desire to continue the “Tight End U” tradition as to why he chose to wave the red towel.
