On Sunday, class of 2020 point guard Ally Collett announced she’ll be heading to the Hill.
Collett is a junior at South Laurel High School in London, Ky. She chose the Tops over Northern Kentucky, Murray State, Lipscomb, Eastern Kentucky and Wright State.
According to London’s The Sentinel Echo, Collett has netted over 1,000 points and is averaging nearly 20 points per game through her first two years as a high school athlete.
The Echo also says she Collett shot 38% from three, 80% from the free throw line and averaged 19.7 points per game as a sophomore last year.
Collett is quick, decisive with the ball, finishes at the basket with ease and has a smooth shot from distance.
An already loaded position, Collett will have some talent to learn from when she joins the Lady Toppers, with the likes of Terri Smith, Sherry Porter, Myriah Noodel-Haywood and Meral Abdelgawad slated to be with the program once Collett comes to the Hill.
