The offseason has come early for the college sports world due to the pandemic that is the COVID-19 coronavirus, but the Hilltoppers aren’t 100% in sleep mode yet.
On Tuesday, North Carolina-based Phenom Exposure announced that 2022 big Brandon White had received an offer from Western Kentucky.

6'10"
Center
North Rowan High School (Spencer, N.C.)
Class of 2022
Admittedly, I can’t find a ton on White — he doesn’t appear to be a star of the class (yet), which could bode well for the Tops, who are one of the first two offers he’s received (along with Virginia Tech).
Phenom Hoops actually has done a lot of work on him, putting together a solid write up on the 6'10"…forward? Center? You can read that here.
As for what he had to say about WKU, PH has us covered there, too.
“They were losing big’s and that I was the best they have seen, so they want to offer me.”

PH also reports that Texas and Tennessee have shown some interest.
As for the bigs, WKU needs them now and in the future. By the time White would step onto the Hill, the only player currently on the roster still in Red and White would be Isaiah Cozart, who’ll be in the midst of his senior season.
And while the Tops appear to be in the running for some future wings, nothing is solid as of yet (although names like Kyree Walker, JUCO transfer Marial Mading and Brooks Barnhizer could be on their way).
As for what he can do on the floor? Well, he’s already the biggest man on the court and gives me really, really heavy Charles Bassey vibes.
That highlight package doesn’t show a lot what he can do with the rock in his hands (although those couple of dunks were pretty awesome), but he’s quick on defense and shut down in the paint.
