WKU Recruiting: Recruiting Roundup — May 18
Got kind of an expanded recruiting roundup today, after missing some offers that were reported Wednesday as well. Let’s get to it.
Got kind of an expanded recruiting roundup today, after missing some offers that were reported Wednesday as well. Let’s get to it.
Football
We’re gonna start in descending order and begin with Wednesday’s offers.
Male’s Izayah Cummings announced the Tops had reached out to him.
A three-star receiver, Cincinnati, UKY, Purdue, Indiana, Louisville and Wisconsin are among the teams who are interested in his services.
I must admit I cannot seem to find who this is, but the Tops offered him so sweet?
Antarrius Moultrie, a JUCO linebacker, has garnered the Tops’ interest.
App State, FAU, South Al, Southern Miss and Temple also are interested.
Deerfield Beach, Florida’s Miles Dickens received a Toppers offer as well.
A three-star defensive end, Dickens has offers from UK, UofL, Auburn, NC State and Illinois.
Ishmael Goulbourne, another Sunshine Stater, now holds a Tops’ offer.
247 lists only Syracuse as another offer.
Ronald Folkes has also garnered a WKU offer.
And with that, we’re FINALLY to offers from yesterday!
Palmetto’s Reese Lyons has been offered.
Long snapper Cam Fleury has an offer. We know WKU loves them some special team players.
And finally, on the football end, Dequanteous Watts has announced he holds an offer from WKU.
The Atlanta athlete holds offers from Boston College, Central Michigan, FAMU, EKU, Georgia Tech, Mercer, UVA, VT and Wake, among a few others.
Men’s Basketball
On Wednesday, Dontaie Allen announced the Tops had offered him.
The three-star small forward has kind of a mixed bag of offers — schools like EKU, IUPUI, Morehead and NKU have offered him, but also so has Xavier. 247Sports says Xavier and the Tops are the top two duking it out for his services.
Women’s Basketball
Torrion Starks has reportedly obtained an offer from the Lady Tops.
Starks, from Hart County, Georgia, is a 5'7" guard and that’s nearly the only info I could find.
