WKU Recruiting: Recruiting Roundup — May 2
I’m still trying to figure out what our role in the recruiting game is.
I’m still trying to figure out what our role in the recruiting game is.
I ran a handy poll on Twitter earlier this week that shows that you all actually dug the “WKU has offered…” stories that we started writing, but here’s the reality of that — when it comes to football, there are so. many. offers. that are handed out, that one of three things are bound to happen:
I’m going to drown in offer stories
Our page is going to be nothing but offer stories
See 1 and 2
So, I’m calling a bit of an audible and am trying something new. Welcome to our first ever recruiting round up! As most things we try at first, this is going to mold and transform into different forms and things, but we’re giving it the ole college try.
So, without further adieu, lets do this.
Football
Yesterday, the Tops were reported to have extended offers to two players.
Louisiana three-star athlete Jah’Quan Jackson announced he received an offer:
Among teams that have offered him are SMU, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, ULM and ULL. According to 247Sports, Jackson has a scheduled visit for this weekend to SMU, who the service says Jackson is warm on.
Jacksonville’s Aric Horne also announced he received an offer:
247Sports says USF is the favorite for Horne, who has offered him, along with UConn, South Al and UCF. He is a 6'1", 210 linebacker in the class of 2019.

One thing these updates will aim to do is not just focus on what WKU is doing, but also key in on what WKU targets are doing as well.
In that realm, Hopkinsville’s KyKy Tandy (who the Tops have offered and who 247 has crystal balled to UK) recieved an offer from Ole Miss.
The four-star guard holds 14 offers, including UK, UofL, Cincy, Florida, Oklahoma, Tenenssee and Vandy.
