His Hudl tape shows…not what I was expecting. His size, and how he looks in those pictures, made me think he was going to be an explosive guy, but it looks as if he’s been successful at the high school level because he’s bigger than everyone.
He doesn’t really “burst,” off the line and he isn’t manhandling guys, but he does do enough to keep them away from the quarterback. There’s some potential there, it just isn’t there yet.
Dorsey chose the Tops over Austin Peay and Central Michigan, among other schools.
Following his commitment, the Tops are ranked third in the conference by 247Sports, behind only North Texas and ODU, while Rivals ranks WKU second, behind just the Mean Green.
By my count, Dorsey is the 14th member of the Tops recruiting class, joining Brock Higdon, Javion Posey, Desmond Johnson, Travares Springer, Jordan Flack, Terrell Jennings, Daylen Powell, Mitchell Harralson, Clayton Bush, Joshua Black, Cory Munson, Stephone Atkinson and Dylan Morton.
