WKU’s third and final commitment over the weekend came early Monday (okay, technically not the weekend, but we’re still counting it) when Texas offensive lineman Mason Brooks said he’d sign with the Tops come NSD.
Brooks is listed as a 6'6", 255 pound lineman from Cedar Park, and WKU was his lone FBS offer. He chose WKU over Abilene Christian, Lamar, Liberty (okay, so WKU was his second FBS offer…), McNeese State and Sam Houston State.
Brooks is exactly what you want out of an OLine prospect — he’s big and strong and will beat you every time you connect with him. He looks like an awesome building piece to help revamp that OLine that helped produce the worst rushing attack in 2017.
