On Monday, Nashville three-star cornerback Travares Spring announced he’ll be announcing his commitment on the 4th of July, and the Toppers are in the running for his services.

The Tops are arguably the highest billed team in the running, along with conference mates Southern Miss and MTSU.

Late Monday night, WKU head coach Mike Sanford tweeted that it was “going to be a big week,” and to “stay tuned,” for Topper fans.

As to if that’s in reference to Springer, or another one of the couple of prospects who have included WKU in their top choices (or both!), we’ll have to wait and see.
