On Tuesday afternoon, the rosters for the 2019 BSN Sports Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game were announced featuring two future Hilltoppers in Isaiah Cozart and Jackson Harlan representing the Bluegrass State.
Cozart and Harlan both were announced as finalists for Mr. Kentucky Basketball and were named to first-team all state as well earlier in the year and will get a chance on April 13 to play against the Ohio all-stars for some cross-state bragging rights.
This will be a great opportunity for these two to get some playing time together before joining WKU later in the year as well as representing their respected counties and the state of Kentucky in this game.
Cozart is known for his defensive skills especially for being a shot blocker. He will concluded his prep ball career with 1,575 points, 1,268 rebounds and a state-record 716 blocked shots which is quite mesmerizing and should be an instant impact player for WKU.
Harlan is strong scorer and can get to the basket with ease. He scored 26.4 points per game last season and shot 47% from the floor. He can hopefully provide some solid minutes for the Tops next season.
Major congrats to both of these players as they represent WKU and the state in a few weeks.
