2022 WKU Volleyball Schedule Released
Louisville, Texas A&M and Indiana highlight the home WKU volleyball schedule, released by the program on Monday, which features 14 home matches at Diddle Arena.
The Cardinals make just their third-ever trip to Bowling Green for a volleyball match in what will serve as WKU’s home opener. It’s the second-ever regular-season match in BG for the Cards, who won in straight sets on Sept. 1, 1990.
WKU has never beaten Louisville in volleyball.
Other schedule highlights include the Tops’ two home tournaments - The Holiday Inn - University Plaza Invitational (Sept. 8-10) featuring Northern Kentucky, Toledo and Austin Peay and the annual WKU Volleyball Invitational (Sept. 16-17) which will see Tennessee Tech, Texas A&M and Indiana come to town.
This season will also mark the last time the Tops will face UTSA and North Texas as conference opponents, who have been WKU’s most consistent threat atop the league since the Tops’ entrance into Conference USA.
WKU’s conference home schedule will see FIU (Sept. 30), Charlotte (Oct. 2), UTSA (Oct. 9), MTSU (Oct. 23), UAB (Oct. 28), La Tech (Oct. 29) and Rice (Nov. 10).

Lady Tops to Host Conference Tournament
There is a lot to look forward to in the 2022 WKU volleyball season and last Wednesday, Hilltopper fans were given more reason to be excited as Conference USA announced Bowling Green will be the host of this year’s conference tournament.
WKU, winners of three-straight conference tournaments, will play host for the second-time as a C-USA member (2017) and for the third-time since 2010 (2012, Sun Belt tournament).
The Lady Tops have won each of the previous two tournaments they’ve hosted.
In 2020, the tournament changed it’s format from a straight 1-8 standings seeding to taking the top four teams in each division to fill out the eight-team tourney.
The 2022 C-USA volleyball tournament will be held from Nov. 18-20 at Diddle Arena, three days after the newly announced men’s basketball game against South Carolina State.
