Hey everyone! Today is National Signing Day. As recruits put pen to paper for their NLI, we’ll post updates here of each recruit that signs so be sure to follow along.
Here’s a somewhat big name. Turner Helton (Clay Helton’s son) signs with the Tops. He’s a quarterback from Palos Verdes High School in California. Surprised he’ll be playing for his uncle over his dad at GSU
I'm honestly not too impressed by our class thus far. Star rankings don't matter that much at this level but other than Veltkamp there really hasn't been that many players that stand out, transfers included. Obviously last year taught us to wait until spring to make full judgement but coming off the year we did i'm definitely surprised that Helton didn't better capitalize on recruiting trail
Our writer Alex Sherfield was able to go to SWHS to see Caden Veltkamp, Jake Jackson, and Avrin Bell sign with the Tops!
